Yeah, the safe money would have been on Uran for sure, frankly, like you I thought Uran would outfox him or get away on the climb, but I was hoping Barguil could hold on, it was very close but I think he deserved it.

He is coming off a good season though and he hasn't raced as much as the other guys so he is rested.

He might be the proof that the peloton is clean, because he was kicking ass in the states for ages.

Yesterday was a good stage, probably the best one so far, for me anyway. As Mathew Keenan said the heart rate monitors and power meters were ditched for this one, real seat of the pants bike racing.

 

Mollema was another surprise for me on a sprinters stage, but, as EzRider said, "Pick a rider, ........it will be wrong."

Mollema was another surprise for me on a sprinters stage, but, as EzRider said, "Pick a rider, ........it will be wrong."
