Would you buy and ride a " illegal" bike ?

Ok, so not as bad as the heading makes it out to be. I'm talking about the 6.8kg legal weight of a bike

The guys at Black Spade will be running a special soon.

Aero frame, carbon 24mm wide super lite wheels and SRAM RED 22 groupset with Ritchey finishing parts.

Looks like will be 6.18g once complete

They only going to do 10, because the price will be crazy...be on the look out...

Think back to the Raleigh,Zipp deal from a few years back

Don't miss your chance to be bad and ride illegal bike, I've booked one, so only 9 left....

This is mine...headset not in frame, so angle of fork looks out, but it's not.

BB86 on frame too and does come DI2 ready although I'm not doing that..been drooling over the SRAM RED 22 for a few weeks

I could go sub 6kgs if I went lighter saddle and tubby 38mm instead of clinchers

Not sure on final pricing but they said would be under R40 000

Which is crazy as Rrp on groupset I think is R28 000 on its own

OK, the special has been launched and as Collin said there are only 8 left...

Price is R 39 999 for the package of RED 22, any of the super lite wheel options, Ritchey WCS Handlebar, stem and Ritchey saddle.

If you go 38mm tubbie option you will just slip under 6kg's which is insane.

Please email info@blackspaderacing.net if you need more info or to book your ride
