To avoid confusion here, Paragon sliders are available from paragon machine works, but the frame will then need to be modified to take the sliders, not a simple bolt on.

My advice to Mountain Bru, based on experience, if you have a tight budget, the Inbred is the best value for money. Yes, the brake caliper requires adjustment if you tension the chain, however, unless you're constantly changing ratios, this doesn't need to be done often. You will soon enough find a ratio that works for 90% of your riding, and stick with it. Somedays, I'm sorry I sold my Inbred.

I have a Singular with an EBB, to me the biggest issue with this system is the effective height of the BB, which changes, seat height and setback can be adjusted, but the BB height is an issue.

I was lucky to get a P29er with Paragon sliders, and it is without doubt a nicer ride than the Inbred, but that has to do with factors other than chain tensioning systems.

Correction, that bike uses the Tange IRD sliding dropouts .

Sorry, same concept though!

You are forgiven.

What I would like to get though is this adjustment barrel for my Ritchey.

Yup, I was going to order some, along with the slider without the derailleur hanger, and the slider for the brake side that does not require the ISO adapter, but I looked at it and thought do I really need to spend the cash on aesthetics.

The Paragon style sliders are great if you changing ratios often. Both my steel SS and my Ti SS have them. Slightly different designs, but both work very well. I have a QR rear hub in the one and a bolt on hub in the other, no problems
