Silverback Vida 1.... too much bike?

Hi All,

 

This isn't a question about pricing et al, but as a newbie is the Silverback Vida 1 too much bike, or should I go cheaper?

 

I can get one, converted to tubeless (RUBENA SCYLLA V96), with bottle cages for R14675 excl.

The Vida 1 is an awesome bike and for a 29er it stands out above many.

It's s really great bike

It is great value for money, I have one and I love ridding it.

Great value bike and one you wont have to upgrade.

Although my Storm 1 is lying in pieces at the moment, I just need to resemble after maintenance and having wheels rebuilt. It is the best bike that I have owned to date, I put 11000km on it within in a year with smiles all the way.

I actually have no idea to be honest. I don't even know how much the bike weighs.

Hi &l thanks for the replies.

 

My budget is up to R20K, but I need everything as I've got nothing.... I was very keen on the Storm which I saw at Cyclelab. but I need a helmet, gloves, kit, and spares. hence the decision to go Vida 1 and use the balance for other kit!
