NicoBoshoff Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Went for my virgin ride on Paarl mountain today. Discovered a nice bit of new trail running off Jan Phillips. Then headed over to the DH run. Since I've never done the run I first walked it up and did some of the jumps and drop-offs to het confidence. Had a blast! However, when I reached the bottom of the DH run I saw a whole pile of Red Bull tins and &Unions beer empties just strewn everywhere. It was clearly after an event (bergies don't drink that stuff). So what's the deal man? Do people WANT the municipality to close the forests to mtb'ers? Idiots. And you'll know who you are. (Deon), slowpoke, Mads and 4 others 7

Stretch Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 today while running I witnessed this oldish dude get out his car and throw a bag underneath it. I calmly told him he dropped something and pointed out the bag. He obviously felt bad because he apologised to me when he drove past. Amazes me how people can just so blatantly litter like that. good on you for raising it

I oncestopped my truck so that the labourer who threw out a piece of foil could pock it up. he was surprised when I asked him to fetch it. He didn't think it would be an issue. ffs.
