With the season just around the corner, and the fact that the sun has finally come out in CT, I realised I haven't got a good base layer for summer.

 

Yup, you know the ones, like a bad 80's fish net, sleeveless, creepy looking thing but strips sweat off @ 100kmh.

 

Just wondering who is recommending what. I'm looking at either the Craft Coolmesh Super Light or the Castelli Core Mesh.

Will be interested in seeing what people say, usually in summer I don't wear a base layer (cos it gets so damn hot, I just wanna wear as little as possible :w00t:

 

I know, the whole idea screams 'don't do it' but I've used them in Europe before and reckon they work in drier heat. Better cooling, blah, blah. Issue is when the humidity gets high and the sweat isn't evaporating they become a sponge.
