I shall soon(ish) be by some training wheels for my TCR and just wanted to double check weather or not a shimano freehub and cassette assembly will work on a Chorus groupset.

Also anybody out there got anything to sell me, was thinking of about 1400 bucks which will get me some Aksyriums off CWC. Just thought I'd check here first.

well the liqui-moly boys ride campy gruppo and 10spd shimano cassette and they say it is fine. so cant see why it wouldn't. i presume it may sound noisier and may wear quicker. but seems to work for others.

Spacing is slightly different, but it will probably work fine.  Campag tends to have a little more tolerance to the spacing differences than the other way around.

I've ridden with Shimano and a campy cassette and it sucked...Got a flat at last years Fast One and that was my only option at the time and I had to get a wheel quickly to try get back in the group. I've heard you can do it with no problem if everything is set 100% I guess. Maybe Mud Dee will have a word or two. He know's. He mixes SRAM/Shimano/Campy... Kinda like peas and carrots when you thro...nevermind.

It works 100% without any problems.

Shimano Cassette on kempekker thingies just increases the resale value and reliability of the kempekker thingies!!!!! Think how schweet if it was all Shimano and none kempekker. the only way to make kempekker reliable is to keep it in the kas!!!!!!!!

I bought Mud dees old Campag wheels 2 weeks back, and i have no problem riding them on my 2 bikes. The wheels have a Campag Veloce cassette and my one bike is all Chorus and the other is all 105. No problems what so ever.
