You could of course use a Mavic casette,  available for shimano freebody and campag spacers.

Spacing is slightly different' date=' but it will probably work fine.  Campag tends to have a little more tolerance to the spacing differences than the other way around.

What absolute on sense!!

 

Campy and Shimano have similar spacing in their 10speed cassettes so tehy are both just as tolerant as the other. They work just fine and shimano cassette will last longer.

The spacing differs, as usual just check Sheldon Browns (RIP) website.  Campy = 4.12mm to ShimaNO = 3.95mm. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

BUT it is in the range of slop that most new derailleur can handle.   I haven?t personally run it like that but I know of people that do use it like that.  I am running oooold Mavic cassette with 9sp Campy.
