SRAM and Shimano compatibility

I got SRAM 10 speed 2x10 groupset on my mtb.

 

What Shimano parts will work with this setup?

I know the cassette and 10 speed chain will work, but what about other components?

Rear DR will only work with its make...SRAM on SRAM, Shimano on Shimano..Front DR will work with any shifter.

unless you do one of those SRAMano hacks like Super_mil and I did. SRAM 9sp shifter on Shimano 10sp RD, with a bit of spacing to adjust actuation ratios.

 

But yeah... just stick with SRAM-SRAM and Shimano-Shimano if you're unsure.

I have shimano slx shifters, sram casette, shimano xt RD. not a problem

9sp shifter with 10sp derailleur on a 9sp system - yes you can.

 

Anything else - no you can't/
