Just a quick word of caution:

 

I forgot about the r/w and rode that way again this morning. Two longish stretches of stop/go's on the R44. So you boys 'n girls be careful out there... Maybe ride on the "blocked" side of the road, it looks rough tar, but far better than riding on the narrow stretch remaining which has to carry all the traffic. Cones are stacked as such that in a car you partially drive into the yellow lane - trucks are deep in there for sure.

 

Unless they feel it's cured enough by this afternoon and open it up for the weekend, which would be muuuuch better!

I am Sorry I decided to ride this DC.

thanks to all the hubbers and non hubbers who came along today......some excellent riding weather and some good time in tne saddle

 

20 riders.....somewhere between paarl and franshoek.....we had dropped 4 at this stage

wannabe......just looked at weekend forecast weather review for raceday (on accuweather).....and while i realise its a week away and this being CT will probably change.....if its anything to go by....it might be a fast day.....temperature 31 max with 27 early morning......wind 13kmh early morning with gusts up to 35kmh later in the afternoon
