Hub can be adapted to 12mm TA by a simple adapter, brakes on the 2015 are not that much better - 2014 still has LOADS of stopping power, it's just the newer Deore. 2015 I'd still get rid of that damn fork, and all you need to do to get rid of OD2 is get a different headset. I mostly was able to 1-finger it, and I think I was more tired from holding on than anything else. Starting at 19K for a brand new bike, and upgrading the things you don't like (while selling the unused parts) should be much cheaper than buying a slightly better Stock 2015 and still having to change some parts.
