Dear Mr Samuels,

What is happening man? Now you want me to pay the full amount to Western Union?

That was not our agreement.

Please get back to very quickly quickly now because before I drive all the way to Windhoekfrom Kalkrand to do this Western Union money transfer I need to know that you are genuine and that you are not a funny somebody.

Maybe I can send my cousin down to your warehouse to just check the bikes before you send it? He lives only 45km away from Plettenberg Bay. His name is Adino, my older brother's youngest son.

Please be straight with me.

Eduardo

whahahahaha...

maybe ask him for a Absa account number, say that they are directly linked to Bank Windhoek, and can do the transfer directly.

Hmmm, perhaps you need an official invoice mailed to you "for tax clearance purposes" before the bank releases the money to you and you can go to Western Union? You might need his VAT number as well while you are at it.

Yes, good idea, but only after he has sent another lot of Western Union details..... .

I must admit that I'm getting Stockholm Syndrome here, or maybe just a desire to put the idiot out of his misery.

After you are done toying with him, perhaps 'pinarello's agent' for africa and oceania should get in touch with him to have him fill out a 'questionaire'

Ok Alfred,

Looks like we are getting too mixed up today, you and me.

While I am in Kalkrand, I went to the Bank Windhoek branch here in the Frankie Fredericks Mall and they are trying to help me also. The manager is telling me that they can pay cash deposited money to the ABSA account in South Africa. The transfer is going to cost about Nam$450, but that is still much cheaper than for me to drive to Windhoek and also by when I get to Windhoek the Western Union will be closed and tomorrow is a Public Holiday in Namibia.

I know this is a big lot of trouble for a businessman like you, but maybe I just do the cash on deposit to your ABSA account and then we share the heavy cash deposit fee? Can you talk to management and maybe we can come together on that one please.

Eduardo

he was pretty sharp a few days ago, time to get him to up his game again.

query the plett location vs the joburg western union branch.

the fnb branch code is Balfour park as well.

the discrepancy between alfred and akinkobula will probably scare him off.

Trying to string a sentence together in Igbo with lots of deep expletives as a send-off. Maybe time to let him sweat a bit...

I have discussed with the management that have agreed that we will split the cash on deposit charges of $450usd but the management said before we can provide you with 2 Alternative bank account to make the payment via Cash on Deposit, they said you should confirm if Absa in Namibia there operate western union because all Absa here in South Africa Operate Western union.

So if the Absa in Namibia there operate Western union that means you will make the payment via Western union in Absa there because the operate Western Union.

The management also agreed that we will both also split the sending cost of the Western union charges from Absa.

Await your response..............

Now when I saw EDUARDO, I skrikked because for a moment I thought Dips was on the other end of the line....OK, Alfred Samuels we now just need your ABSA account details.

ABSA operate Western Union as well..... ask the ABSA there with you in namibia, if they operate western union and if they do, quickly make the payment via Western Union now in the Absa bank because with Western union your payment is confirmed within 10mins.

Await your response.

This fish is going to crawl up onto the riverbank and reel himself in he's so excited.

Alfred,

Now you must listen carefully. Calm down and listen carefully please my friend.

There is no ABSA in Namibia, but there is Bank Windhoek who have relations (not that kind, no) with ABSA. They do not do any Western Union business, the only Western Union agents are in Windhoek and at the Chikky Chako Airport 45km outside Windhoek.

If I cannot make the payment at Bank Windhoek branch in Kalkrand, then we will be delayed by some days because tomorrow I must go back to Neckartal for some family business.

So, now please be very very quickly and get me the best ABSA account number so we can finish this business.

Now I am going for my lunch.

I don't think the absa in kalkrand does western union. partly because absa doesn't do western union, but mainly because there is no absa there.

I don't think you can really string him along much further without really needing some formal bank stuff. since you're too much of a pussy to fudge some documentation it's time to get one of your plett contacts to give him cash directly. tell him your cousin is the casino manager at the cadbury's island hotel and can give him cash directly or gambling chips of higher value.

here is your next step. Ask him for the money...

Question is, how? Let's say he bites, there is no chance that I would divulge my banking details...

OK, it's getting late, the banks are about to close, I think we wait for the banks to close and then I offer him the cash from the manager at the Bacon (as in Peter Bacon) Island Casino. And then he can hand over my share of the fees to the manager in US$.

@shebeen: I have driven through Kalkrand a number of times recently and believe me, nothing does anything in Kalkrand ;)

But believe me, you might want to invest in property at the new Neckartal Marina.
