naa, just seen all the cops gather here at my work, apparently for some parade!!! They wereout in full force, all the different units etc. What I dont get is that this country cannot afford this kind of money being wasted, but yet it happens!!

Looks like all Cape Towns emergency vehicles were parading down Klipfontein road. waited forever at the robots.

Very heavy traffic through Clifton yesterday afternoon .MTb hugging the curb,trying to give me space to pass.Waited for a 1.5m gap but delivery bakkie behind me lost his cool and overtook on a blind corner and almost took out the MTB .The gap must have been +/- 30cm. Lots of education still needed

The most effective solution will always be separate lanes.

Cyclists are just so vulnerable when cars meet two wheel pedal machines.

I've had that a few times too on various narrow stretches while I waited behind a rider for a safe opportunity to pass. I like to think that my Landrover shielded them a good few times from crazy overtakers. I don't get aggro much in the traffic anymore, but overtaking like that gets my goat.
