Ok, how critical is it if you need a spoke length but can only get a spoke in 1mm longer length than what you need?

Having just successfully built my 1st set of wheels, all the forum info I scrounged suggested that you rather go 1mm shorter than longer.

but agree with super_mil, when you use the calculators, if you are between lengths, 264.4 then you would go 264 or even 263 as your spoke length

Chatted to my LBS, they are using Wheelsmith spokes, so at least it is good stuff they are pricing ... will look around, but might just well end up having them order and build (R150.00 per build on new wheels)
