Argus Seeding

Anyone have an idea of where roughly a 2:52 for the 94.7 would seed you in the Argus? I have only ridden two timed races 1) the Amashova in about 3:18 which put me in batch M for the 94.7 from which I rode the 2:52.

Use Racetec to find similar results and see where they were seeded in the 2013 Argus.

Will give you a ball-park.

I recon somewhere between K - L

I agree, had a look on Racetec FOR YOu. If you're lucky, then maybe J, depending on the other entrants, but probably a K.

Hi All,

Do you need to be a PPA member for your Die Burger time to count towards your 2015 seeding???

Sorry, I believe this is now called the Stellenbosch Cycle Tour

No, you don't. It's an official seeding race, so they do not even use the PPA seeding indexes to seed the people.

I reckon even further back than K-L maybe N, I think after the success of the smaller groups last year they may push for more of the same this year again. So don't be surprised if end up a little lower, there are just less peeps in each group ahead of you. A went from 270 riders big in 2013 to 45 in 2014

Out of interest I was seeded in G in the end and rode a 3.10
