Zatek Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Which Easton EA70 or EA90 Aero will be better for racing? EA70 has ceramic bearings but the EA90 is more Aero. Wheels will be fitted with GP4000 S tires but also open to suggestions. Thanks
shaun85 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 I weigh 64kgs and have owned a set of EA70's for a while. Run them with the GP4000S too. Great wheels and tyres in my opinion. I live in Durban. Ride along Inanda Road out to Camperdown, not the smoothest route anyone will tell you- and they still perfectly true.
burty Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 I have been running EA 70s for a year with gatorskins and havnt had any problems. My LBS recommended the combo for reliability. Cant comment on the other
MariusL Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 I have had my EA70's for about 3 years now - use them for training, so I've gotten a lot of good miles out of them. Recently started popping spokes - and every time they have to go to the agent for new spokes (never taken them more than a day or two to sort out).
