Koeberg and NATURE RESERVE do not go well together.

 

From what I gather, the radiation around the nuclear power station is lower than on Paarl mountain, with all the huge granite rocks that release low levels of it.

 

It took me a while to get my head around it, but Escom has actually done a very decent job or clearing alien infested land and restoring it back to pristine west Coast dune fynbos. They re-introduced several species of antelope and seem to be managing the reserve very well.

I watched After Earth on MNet Sunday night. Will Smith says to his son that "everything on this planet has evolved to kill humans". Fiction of course, while the reality seems that we, humans, have evolved to kill everything on this planet! Including ourselves!

 

That was such a crap line in the movie. NOTHING on that earth tried killing anything else, that bird even saved a human the only thing that did try some human killing was not from earth and therefore did not evolve there. After Earth is TV litter!!!!
