Any serious bottlenecks to be aware of?

nope....the "bultjies" quickly sort the men from the boys....there is a nasty little loose rocky climb before the actual "monster" which I rate hardest...race is won or lost there.

nah not really, there is a long wall we ride on single file..and a portage section. the climbing is not the hard bit, for me was the bumps

Morning guys

 

My turn for 'daftness'. Where is Breedtsnek? I know where Hekpoort is, but that is it.

 

Is it a tarred road or dirt? From where does one access it?

Breedtsnek is the little pas over the magalies from hekpoort to buffelspoortdam...its a long district road, with about a 3-4km climb over the nek at the end...

nah not really, there is a long wall we ride on single file..and a portage section. the climbing is not the hard bit, for me was the bumps

i agree, first climb is way worse than the monster

Nothing exciting to be honest...just singletrack up the magalies....donder down to the shebeen from the top on a district after it

and the little rolling bumps after going up the monster can take their toll...

that climb up to the cell tower...

that is just nasty..but at least its all down hill from there
