The strong teams will be looking to smash things up when the echelons form as soon as they reach the coastline at Arenzono. That will be an exposed coastal road all way in to San Remo. And the Cipressa and Poggio are both exposed climbs as well - hardly a tree in site - just low roof Med houses and vineyards.

I have to say I think it will either be Sagan or Cavendish who takes the MSR win.

Milan San Remo: a late course change happening due to more landslides on the course. Rain will be coming down Saturday again and through Sunday.

Pity it won't be on Supersport.

Any suggestions for live streaming online video?

Seems as if will be live on Rai channel 430 Dstv.(From 15h00 or 16h00?)

Imagine how hungry Sagan is for this win

I'm imagining the look of disappointment on his face when the same thing as last year happens.

1976, Milan-SanRemo

Merckx won it 7 times, remarkably.

That jersey

I've searched for so long to get my hands on one of those 70's wool Campy jerseys. Don't know where to get one - or even if anyone still makes them.

For me, without a doubt the coolest retro cycling kit there possibly is.

Wow...

Send a pic on receiving them

I see the one he wears has Campagnolo on it?

MSR seems to be live from 16h05 South African time on Rai 3 channel 430 DSTV.

Interesting fact:

MSR is the longest race of the year, so long that it gets special dispensation from the UCI to exceed the normal cap of 250km.

Race of attrition - nothing else like it. So many factors for the selection, and a lot of luck.

Whoever takes it... please not a wheelsucker until the last 10m
