Daryl Impey WINS the SA Road Champs 40km Time Trial in a time of 50:48 (average speed 47.2km/hr!)

Pretty sure that Impey was the reigning champ. Thomson was second in the TT and won the road race in 2013.

Impey def won last yr too, he still rode the TDF TT in SA colours

Louis Meintjes U/23 just completed in 51mins:36sec. Currently placed 3rd in Elite Men and 1st in U/23.

I was there this morning watching them come past and they were all flying. They also had such different setups on their TT bikes as well as their cadence!

 

But the fastest man on the day WON!

just saw prelimanary results!

 

Heidi in second!!! What a talent!

 

 

Cherise rolled a tubby from the rim on a corner, finsished 4th on a spare bike - what a girl!!!!!!

 

 

11 riders not too bad, considering TT is a speciality!
