Nobody needs cracked nipples...

exactly ... not exactly like a little cream is going to sort them out and how do you explain to your better half that you have cracked nipples and the guy at the LBS has some new nipples he would like you to look at ....gets very interesting around the dinner table

ye ?

Excellent, they work very well!!!

Just ensure that you still use tape over the rim holes before installing the tubless strip so that you can ensure you are preventing Stans seeping past the strips lip and into the head of the spokes .... that way you will hopefully extend the lifespan of the nipples.

Enjoy the wheels, when I got my first set of those I was over the moon RE the stiffness and snappiness of the wheelset!

Oh, another hint. When fitting the strips first line up the valve hole and pop the valve through the strip and rim in order to ensure the holes line up nicely .... if not and you are a few mm off alignment it can be hard work getting it right.

Also watch your fingers pinching the last bit of seating the strip :)

Thnx hairy .. ye just trying to get a bike together while waiting on insurance.... not many 26"wheelsets @ the LBS nowadays kinda bought them on a whim, cause buying hubz and doing a wheelbuild would have cost about 1k - 1.5k more .

Hope they survive this bike is not going to see much trail,,.. it will be as close as i ever get to a rode bike... then build a FR rig when insurance pays out.... try cut out am/duro rig this time ,, just have long distance bike, fr and dj.. well thats the plan.
