External marketing says better shifts, internal marketing says better revenue.

nice those 35mm boras, but if I could I would still not buy the clincher version tbh.

whats the reasoning behind the new RD not being able to work with the older 11spd shifters?

FD I can understand.....Rear.....should be the same.

I'll be the Guiney pig and test it out once the new goodies arrive later this month, keeping the old shifters on and just replacing the RD.

Out of interest, did you go with new crankset design or the optional Comp Ultra?

Where is the best (cheapest) for Campy? Looking for Super Record cassette.

Check with JMK1. There is a SR cassette and chain combo in Classifieds. Been there for awhile.

Looking for 12-29

Eish! What are you asking for? The cheapest I have seen online is from bike24.com. €295 ex postage. You are more likely to find a chicken with teeth. Why not a Record cassette? It's way cheaper and about 20-30g heavier.

Btw, a 12-27 uses the same first 8 sprockets as a 12-29. Its only the last 3 that change. If you could source the last set somewhere its not neccesary to buy a complete cassette. Below is the cassette combinations.

Thanks Cippo....early prep for next year. Planning to do some climbing. I'm happy to go with Record.

Speaking of the sexiest cranks. There is a pair of NJS approved C-Record cranks for sale at NJS Export. I mean if you have an extra 600usd laying around.

Some bikes with campy bits hanging in Plum bike shop, Ghent

The owner kindly allowed me into his museum in the shop basement, filled with bikes which participated in famous races from 1890 till current.
