Agree with IQ for 2

It is not the cold that makes the latex congeal. It is a reaction between CO2 used in bombs with ammonia in tge Stans that prevent latex from congealing. When the ammonia is used up....latex congeals. Remaining fluid has less latex than it should so it does not seal so well.

If you have a slow puncture that is not sealing then regular pumping of the tyre will also deplete the ammonia in the sealant and dry it out.

If using Stans or other latex based sealants be prepared to replace every 6 months.

Had the same problem today, big lump of Stans, tyre was out of balance, opened up and found the lump.never used a bomb ever.? The Stans sealant starts hardening when it comes into contact with air. I used the sealant in a non tubeless ready tyre, racing Ralph,I can only think that the tyre was taking in air from the side where it contacts the rim?

How can air be getting in?

Surely the higher pressure of the air inside the tyre would cause a leak in that instance, a tyre that sucks air in through a hole has to be the holy grail of tyre manufacturing. A self inflating tyre...

Hear if this a few times... Really not trolling but do you guys ride at least 2 or so times a week? Cos if not, to me it would make sense that the stans goes and sits at the bottom. The sealant dries and forms a ball.

I have had Tubless ( getto) with stand and tape the last 3 years and never any issues with clogged or balls
