I have a weeride on my MTB and brought my son on some easy jeep tracks on a vineyard in Stanford last weekend....he loved it!!

I'd like to do the same this weekend but amn't sure where might be most appropriate. Need nice jeep track with very little climbing (the extra 12kg should be good for training but I've to alter my pedalling position with the WeeRide attached!).

What about Koberg nature reserve? Or further up the coast in the west coast national park (can you MTB there?). My wife is keen on the latter as she can chill at the coffee shop while we head out for our mini adventure.

All thoughts/suggestions welcome!

Koeberg is great

yes, you can MTB in the West Coast National Park. There is a route off the tar road, it's a bit of a ride on the tar.

I'll try see if I can find a map.

There are also some trails (at least there used to be) at the Fossil Park not too far away.

Just wanted to say thanks to you all for the suggestions...we've been to Koeberg the last three weekends and he absolutely loves it!!!

Every time he sees zebra etc he screams with excitement!

Just need him to grow up and learn to ride a bike and we can tackle more technical stuff together

Next time pack a small picnic and eat this at the seating near where the wild life graze at the office area and duck pond

Flowta - he's 20 months and has been on the weeride since about 11 months. We started on small rides and gradually built up to longer rides.

Never thought about having a picnic at the grazing spot. There's a picnic area around half way on the long route that we normally stop at for a snack.
