MTB training routes with good & nice hills(long) around Centurion

I'm looking for a new place to train with my MTB.

Currently doing 60km at NF with about 600m climbing.

Sadly the bumps are a bit short.

The hill at Cornwall come to mind but I do not want to go there alone.

Any other suggestions?

Couple of options:

- the hill at Cornwall is ok if done next to the tar rode IMHO

- Groenkloof trails, couple of nice ones, but not very long - but will clean out the lungs

- Fort Klapperkop, the single track - both the tracks, short one coming out of downhill next to R21 & then the lekker one on the Loftus side

- Then you can play around Waterkloof - lekker climbs there

- Solomon Mahlangu between Garsfontein & January Masilela Dr

- then there is Pta East ... the steps etc if you want to go that far

- Voortekker Monument for short steep climbs

From Groenies go past Klapperkop . Do the climb all the way to the tower and not just up to the water reservoirs , after the tower climb follow the single track to tar road , cross the road and practice your technical skills down to the gate , repeat as often as needed .

Sound interesting. Are you doing it this Saturday or Sunday?

we get 800m in 65kms riding from Rooihuiskraal to Groenkloof and back. 90% dirt as well.

What route do you follow to stay on dirt for 90% of the way?
