not really a family (read wife and children) friendly setup.

seems quite involved, to manage and set up.

At first it takes a while to set up as you can individualize it to your needs, this is not a plug and play alternative to DSTV, so you have to put the time and effort in, after all you are streaming for free.

 

Once set up though is very easy to use

 

Unfortunately there is no quick fix alternative plug and play to DSTV although a lot are going apple tv and getting netflix and amazon pay per view accounts and streaming from there, which is still cheaper than DSTV
