One month to race day. Hope the training is going well. Remember there is only 2 weeks left to enter. Entries closes the 20 August

I paid last week. How do I check my entry? Will they send out a mail? I just hope it is as good as last year. Brilliant race. If only I didn't care about my time so much I would stop and take in some views. Amazing Scenery.

Stop a whilst, your times are good anyway. You can give us slower oakes a few tips. :whistling: :w00t: Hope the weather plays along again. I wonder if they have recovered the Landy from the dam yet.

Yes seeing that car in the river was pretty funny. Sorry to the owner but it was quite funny. Dos anyone know the story behind it?

They tried to rush over the river to get a pic of you as you dont stop until you cross the line. :w00t:

Just over 4 hours

who won? Did it attract any of the pro's, with that prize money, I'm sure many will be lining up to earn their living. Edited by milky4130

Think it was Stefan Ihlenfeldt, I recall seeing only one or 2 other pro's there but then I'm not exactly up to date with who's who in the pro racing scene...

How about it milky, going for a podium position?

if it's technically i might stand a chance against the Roadie, but if it's not technically he'll ride away from me.... everytime. On Saturday Burger first half was non technical & he dropped me up the climbs, but passed him later on when the more technical stuff come out.

What he said, but most likely there will be a front bunch for most of the race to hide in and there is a technical few kilometers right at the end so who knows....

That could work, eish that last 10 km when your tired. Its the tought of that LEKKER POOL AND THE ICE COLD BEERS THAT KEEP THE LEGS GOING.
