Pure Savage Posted June 29, 2014 Share Today raced the cat 3 as had a rather heavy week of training. Had lots of fun and plenty of pain today. Guys who rode the CAT 3 my wife took some photos. Late entries will start first in their category and pre entries will start as per their winter league standing. Due to most cyclist only entering on Thursday and we expect a number of late entries, starting times will be estimated and will be posted on the WP Facebook page Friday and Saturday (https://www.facebook.com/groups/431180176960356/), watch that space for constant updates.Registration from: 7h00 (registration closes 20 min before the start of your CAT)Online Entries: Closes at 12h00 on Thursday 3 Jul 2014Route: CAT Laps Total KM Start Time CAT1 2 50 CAT2 2 50 CAT3 1 25 CAT4 TBC 8h00 Start times are estimated and will be amended from time to time, go to WP Facebook page for updates.Route Description:The start will be in Radio Road Klipheuwel , immediately turn left and head towards Durbanville, make a left turn onto Lichtenburg Rd (R312). Pass the Fisantekraal airfield and turn left at the 4 way stop onto the R304. Turn left at the Klipheuwel Silos to complete your first lap of two (CAT3 1 lap).Other information:An about2time timing chip must purchased at a cost of R50 per cyclist if you do not own one. TT bikes are allowed. Please insure you have a valid CSA license (https://csams.cyclingsa.com/login.aspx) @ R75 (this liscense is valid for 1 year). Participants may not wear representative cycling kit unless you are the current district,provincial or national champion in that discipline. Participants may wear their sponsors,club,team or neutral cycling kit when participating. A “No Draft” policy will be in effect as per UCI time trial rules. A back up vehicle will be allowed provided the driver is in possession of a valid CSA managers license which must be produced upon request by the race director or race commissaire. Time gaps between starters will be 1 minute. The podium presentation will be held 20 minutes after the last cyclist in that category completes the course.
