Heading for a few days out that way, my google maps skills is letting me down. On the R509 where the rainbow chickens is, how far is that from van gaalens. Where else is there in the area noob friendly and safe to ride to?

Here is another option to get to van galaans from Home of the Chicken Pie (Lanseria) 70km 1100m 85% offroad (you can add another 30-50km to ride depending on how much VG you add in)

Uni, you can go to VG and ride 20km flat easy River Trail if you want.

we're here, it looks amazing, got a call from the office need to sort some stuff out - typical. but will head out tomorrow morning adventuring. The farm here is massive, i wonder if i can even ride out of it.

Dropping my mom and sister off at the Spa at mount grace, gonna go ride around there, tomorrow will head to van gaalens en route to joburg.
