Hey Titus, well done on sunday, awesome time.

 

 

 

What size blades did you use infront, (the normal 44/34/22?), or did you go bigger on the big blade.

 

 

 

What tires did you use on sunday?

 

 

 

I rode the above and just could not keep up with the guys in those long downhills like blue route, the langbome etc.

 

 

 

Does the 29" now allows you to go with bigger gear ratios to get faster speeds?

How easily can you chuck a 29'er around, does it suffer on tight twisty singletrack, what about the turning circle.

Hell, Pop's alot of questions all at once!

I rode my bike stock on Sunday, didn't change a damn thing! One of the hardest days of my life! I also did alot of very aero tucks combined with very high cadence!

The one in the mag is my very own, you can tell by all the white duct tape stuck to it!

I'll send you out riding with a friend of mine, he is so lippery fast it is actually a little silly, and he prefers chucking his 29'er around.

All these issues being mentioned about handling are mentioned by people who've not actually ridden the bikes before.

That would be me - not having ridden a 29'er before. sounds like I need to organise a test ride.
