Which BB is this, which Park Tool is needed?

Hi guys

 

This is on a Jamis Dakar XC 2012.

 

Which BB is this,

 

Which Parktool is used to remove/fit this BB.

That looks like a Shimano Octalink BB, You will need the BBT-22 from parktool, or similar. You will also need a crank puller to remove the cranks, like the parktool CCP-44.

Don't recall seeing any sign of the old squire axle, but might be hidden by the lock nut from the outside.

 

My Father in law's bike, need to replace the BB, just thought I'd get the tools before I get the bike from him, seems might be easier just to go and get the bike and start opening it up.

Thanks, don't think it's even a 9 speed, seem to recall more like something like a 7 or 8.

That's a bog standard square taper. Park BBT-2 or 22 and a crank puller.
