I invited a Danish colleague over to come mountain biking and she forwarded me this link http://ekstrabladet....icle2302133.ece - our mugging even reached their newspapers!! Now she wants to know whether its safe (a bit jokingly but still). Reality is that cycling IS NOT safe in South Africa anymore. 10 years ago what were the chances of an incident ?
