Amazing how a team leader has to use drugs but the rest dont and they work harder than him.........doesnt make sense to make a weaker rider the team leader...... As they say in cycling "the sin is not in taking, its in being caught" I have a great deal of respect for a particular SA pro. We rode together on the same team over a decade ago, and he went to race abroad. But he eventually came back. I asked him why he came back, and he said "I didnt want to use the medicine...so I'll settle for racing here, with a clean conscience" I leave it there...

Why did NOBODY from Phonak get decent contracts after that TDF even though somehow the non climbers managed to climb at the front of the group over the biggest climbs ?????? Why did just about every person on that team get caught or implicated in a drug scandal ??????? One day the cat will be let out the bag. Untill then I will limit my comments about Proffesional cyclists to an absolute minimum. 1. You CANNOT Ride the Tour without Drugs.2. No Rider would want to start the tour without drugs.3. Your team will not allow you to start the tour without drugs. While doping has been under the spotlight all over the world in all sports, I can Guarantee you that nobody has stopped or slowed down. New tests mean new drugs. Cyclists are at the forfront of doping. The UCI knows it, WADA knows it and the teams know it. IT WILL NEVER STOP !!!!!!!!!!!!
