Pistol Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Morning Fellow Hubbers I had a crash in the half marathon, i did finish the race, but Dont ask me how, because i cant remember! I remember going to the start, meeting my brother near the back of the C batch and then sitting in hospital talking about what had happened. My Yellow Raleigh RM LTD Hardtail is broken. Top tube almost cracked threw.I used my Sobane Outsourcing cycling kit. Its black with a thick green stripe. Very similar to Sky. Please if anyone has seen something let me know.I would like to know where i fell or what had happened. Cheers
kennyg Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Ha ha, Happened to a mate of mine, got horribly side swiped, landed on his head. Got straight back up, I rode with him to the end of the race where he started talking "garbage". Took him through to medi-clinic and he had concussion. He called me the next day to ask how the race was, he had no recollection of being there at all, riding 65km, and spending the afternoon at the doc. He told me I was BSing him and when I bought him his bike back, it only clicked....

I knew someone who bailed so hard that when she woke up the next morning she didn't believe her family telling her she bailed in the race.... Initially her first thought was now she is going to miss tomorrows race. And that was like 30 km in ! Hospitalized for 3 days ! This whole memory loss thing freaks me out !
