Silly question... don't have time to read through the whole thread.

I was able to do "freeride" for longer than an hour, no problem. Now all of a sudden the freeride stops after an hour. What is up with that? Not that I mind starting another one but it's kind of silly that it does that now.

Unless there is something that i'm missing?

iPad with ANT+ dongle.

It didn't do it before. I had a one month subscription which ran out.

Come to think of it, it started after the subscription expired.

Try renewing the subscription (if you want to) and see if it makes a difference...

We didn't know about this feature to be honest, we have sent the developer a mail to ask if it is the case whereby you are capped to an hour's freeride with out a subscription.

I will subrscribe and see if it changes. Would be very odd if they somehow limit you to 1HR after your subscription runs out. Like I said, before I subscribed it wasn't an issue.

While faffing around with the FAQ's last night I saw a mention that free ride is only for 1 hour....

On another note regarding my failed race attempt last week.... Managed to do an online ride with no problems (Gordon's bay route) with all parameters working.

Eish....

When tested my new user profile last Wednesday, I was also thrown off after an hour ? ( one hour on the dot)

That was on the desktop version.

Created the new user as there was time zone issues on my first profile with no option to change it.

Really hope I will not be thrown off again after an hour on this weeks comming race Thuesday.

I chatted to Dave in the queue at the Believe MTB race yesterday. Lots of new things coming.

I am planning a long training ride on Wednesday (public holiday). Not sure how hard I should go on Tuesday.

W2W is approaching rapidly - any interest in Tuesday AND Thursday races?

I also had a time zone issue in the beginning when i tried to do the race last week, my computer time was about +12 minutes different (dunno why its not accurate) so i had to reset the clock on my computer and since then no time zone problems.

I might be in for a race effort on Thursday if its not to long.

Another question for ye all....

When doing a ride (for example on friday i did a Gordons bay route), is it possible when you reach the end to ride the route in reverse? I wanted a bit more time and thought to ride it backwards, but could not see how to do it?

Would be nice if when finishing a route there was a pop up that said "ride back" or some function to choose this option?

The developers responded and said that the hour cut off is correct for DEMO (non subscription) use - i.e. as per their design.

@SwissVan - to ride the route in reverse, there may have to be video footage of it in reverse as well - I understand your thinking (ride it on google maps with gradient) and it is something we will propose to the developers to see if it is feasible.

Also a sub note, if anyone is using the iPad version and has done the update to iOS8 and is now experiencing problems, then please drop us a mail at info at bicyclepower.co.za with as much detail, screen shots etc of the problems, so that we may forward them on to the developers to sort them out ASAP.
