Online hubbers, lend me your ears and some time....

Ive created a route from a recent ride which needs to be tested out on the IDT, would appreciate if some of you chaps could ride it (or even race it  ) and let me know how it goes....i'm worried it might be a bit steep on the climbs. Here's a summary and profile view:

Route name: Zug Riveria

link: http://my.virtualtraining.cycleops.com/virtual-routes/detail/4921

The 1st climb is easy and +/- 3km long,  the next 2 climbs are each 1 km long and steep...

The last and 4th climb is +/- 3 km long and with the last part being steep.

Tonight

Thanks, what gearing do you have on your bike?

I rode the steep sections with a 34 x 23 / 25 :whistling:

Hope its not too steep for chaps who dont have compact gearing

On a virtual bike I will use the same as D'Huez. Not enough?

I don't know, that's why I'm looking for volunteers :whistling: ..... the climbs are a bit steeper than Alp D'huez but also much shorter.

I rode it in real life (zug rivera) on Saturday and the last 3 climbs are difficult even with compact gearing

Hi all

put on a race for tomorrow night 19h00 .

A little bit further than our usual 30km races so far...( hope it will not be a problem for those who race with tables – battery life)

Hope to see you all there at the start.

Hoping for a "virtual puncture free" race.

These "virtual punctures (lost of internet connection and all the other technical issues caused a racer not to enter / start a race or finish a race) can just be as disappointed as getting an actual puncture during a race outside on the road / trail.....lol

Hey guys,

Wont be able to join tonight. Will watch the replay tomorrow. Happy racing...

On another note, does anyone know how to "favourite" a route within the iPad app? I can only "favourite" routes while logged in on my pc?

Thanks!

Yes, if you really like a certain route then it becomes your favourite.  So the key is that you must really like a route.  I have many favourite routes :whistling:

Funny....so then how do you stick a little pink heart next to it so when you're old and have dementia you'll remember it's a favorite?

I am not sure after the update but what I do remember is after riding a route when you rate it there is an option to favourite it.

If you have not used the PC desk top app in the last few days there is an update that is waiting, so dont forget to open it early enough before the race tonight.

Und? Did u manage to try it out Doc?

Sorry bud. Got home past 22:00 and my Mojo was gone. Tonight I will race so I will only die on your favourite climbs later. Looking forward though.I love it when rides in exotic places shows on my Strava rides.

I am still out. Two courses of antibiotics to sort me out. Will see Thursday evening, if someone puts up a nice race for old guys. ^_^
