I then got an email saying I was unsuccessful in securing an entry. This was all before 6pm. Anyone else get this? No reason why I should be denied an entry.

Email confirmation says unfortunately we do not qualify for an entry this year and will have to try on the 12 August. My other mate has the same problem WTF!!! This has been such a waste of time and now looks like I cannot even enter because of their stupid systems. Anyone else have the same problem and know what to do to fix Thx

semisub Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 At 5:30 pm, I managed to get as far as selecting the size of the free clothing before the server crashed on me again. I called Entelect on 011 994 3504 and confirmed that my entry has been captured. I have done an EFT and sent them POP so I guess we should be okay. I did confirm at that stage, only 400 entries had been received out of 750 with only about 100 payments received so far, so there should still be entries available once they upgrade the servers tonight.Good luck all!

Da Vinci Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 It occurs to me the the reason for the denied entries comes from the fact that so many entries vs payments still need to be ratified against each other so they can't allow any more entries in case they end up over subscribing...

Seems amazing that 400 entrants (or so) have gotten through for the adventure entrants. The entry process must be so tricky for them to juggle. I know some teams that are (were) planning on entering all 3 versions, using different ID systems and then going for substitutions. This is the exact thing they are trying to avoid - but demand for this ride is sooooooo high that folk are doing anything to enter!
