Really like to see if any interest or parts in South Africa for my bicycles. Thank You.
Bradley Page-Lee Posted July 21, 2014 Author Posted July 21, 2014 a 1956 Rudge in bad condition but its there.. a Western Flyer that im told from THE CABE thats maybe a seveties item. they reckon its in a good condition for its age, but needs work. Im trying to find out more about that bike, its a Panther GTS but i only get info on the 50s version. Then a Kopra and Favorit from some eastern block countries. These bikes are just frames and handle bars, cranks and pedals, not original wheels. theres a old kids bike i know nothing about but is just too cool. The other day i sold a small 5 speed that was more than 20 yrs old plus a Chopper in pristine condition that was 30 yrs old. Today I sold a Mongoose Bmx from the early 80s. Currently im trying to sell a bit of a mix and match Torelli, mid range level and a late 80s Trek 470 fast trek with components from the 70s and 60s, THATS ACCORDING TO A FEW GUYS ON CLASSIC AND ANTIQUE BIKE FORUM. Got some guys from SA on this site helping me find my feet in regards to these two bikes. Seems i over spent buying them to resell. Just i would like some local opinions on the older bikes and in future purchases. thanks.HOW DO I POST PICS HERE, cant remeber if i did before, must of... cannot remember...
