What is the gradient and distance of the hill from Silverstar to Macs Snacks ?

What is the gradient and distance of the hill from Silverstar to Macs Snacks ?

 

Easy.........

 

Do the following:

 

Install Google Earth and start program.

Search for specific road section in question.

Zoom in to desired level (so that you can see everything clearly).

Activate "Ruler" icon (next to envelope icon at top of screen) - small screen opens up.

Click on "Path" tab - set measuring units.

Mark route in question with dots using mouse and clicks.

Once completed click on "Save" button.

Give route a name - save - measuring line turns to red.

Right click on red line - dialog box opens up.

Click on "Show Elevation Profile" (second command from bottom).

 

Sit back in amazement and enjoy the information on screen..........easy!!!!

Where do you live Barhugger? My office is in that screenshot!

 

........close enough to make that section of road as part of a training ride.......lekker (interval training) tuffy if you do it a few times followed by Fort Klapperkop......
