So, I get told on Monday when I drop my bike off that it will be in JHB sometime on Tuesday. So I've just been to the airport and guess what......no bike, what a waste of time.

 

Firstly I get home two hours later yesterday due to delays and now this. I'm just really peeved at the moment

 

If they've lost my bike there will be hell to pay

hey SAA sent my bike once to PE instead of Cape Town

 

made them do a home delivery

wonder women try this..took my bike to them last week Tuesday, when we arrived in CT Sat now bike to be seen.....so had to go to hotel pack out and go back to airport...very very annoying...at least had a bike

 

lets hope for the best when going there this afternoon.....

 

o, when we got back from cape town monday evening, they were packing the bikes on the conveyor belt......grrr

OK, I've calmed down a bit now. Still bikeless and wasted petrol but hey....maybe I can get that system six if it's lost.

 

Only problem is my sparkling wine and quite a few clothes are also in the box.

Or just drive down. My bike has never gotten lost, scratched or over charged. And I could take it for a ride in Beafort West.

Use Elliots in the future..... amazing service and they are also cyclists!!!!!! I even sent our bag with bike kit AND tools down with them!!!! and we got TWO waterbottles!!!!!!

On one occasion I flew down to Pietermaritzburg with SA Airlink (29 seater aircraft) and they accidentally sent the entire aircraft's baggage off to Pietersburg. Only got our stuff the next day.

Probably not, but it seems that everyone there wants to be a traffic cop ! Driving back to Jozi on Monday morning I got stopped just outside Beaufort West in a "routine stop" where it seems that they were only stopping cars with bikes. The TCS van & trailer were also stopped while I was there and busy collecting their fine [for what I don't know].
