Might also be an option going forward as flying to East Londen (family of 4) plus accommodation etc is costing an arm and a leg. think it might be the perfect training for IMSA. shawnvan Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Mmmm.... I'm always a fan of races, but to pay R1350 to do practically my weekly Saturday brick route doesn't seem too appealling ... I suppose if you look at it as training for IM and to practice racing it makes sense. But I think I would rather do Prestige or Buffelspoort Ultra (close enough to GP) as a change of venue from Cradle, as I ride Cradle nearly every weekend. I'll wait to see how well TriRock Durbs is organised...

Its a long-ass way form the water to the tar - plus the current road rough enough on a Hard-Tail. Maybe a cyclocross bike with tri bar? recon that would work!

I specifically asked this and was assured it would have no dirt roads.... either on concrete (5%) and 95% tar so I suspect they will be laying down concrete lanes from water to the cradle road...I am happy with that.
