Perico Posted September 12, 2006 Share I had to drive along Hans Strydom this morning to get to a meeting. Theroad works on that road are really going to pose a problem for such abig field of riders. I know that people have already mentioned it on other threads but be careful everyone! As for k-hill I think the worst part is that the hill starts on theN14/R28 when you pass the Muldersdrift turn off. For the un-informed itadds a good km or so to the climb. I must say though that I always found the gradient of the first sectionnot too bad, it is always the bit after the Robert Broom turn thatkilled me (it still does) Luckily we miss that part. Anyways looking forward to it. GO TCS! Epoh have you been re-seeded into your rightful group of A yet?

I hope I am going to be there for a start, I have got an allergy . I worked from home on Tuesday and the chemicals in the cleaning detergents the maid used to clean the floor affected me quite badly. I did not have any antihistamine's with me . I need to be more cautious with this. My allergy levels to chemicals (perfumes, cologne's, petrol, jik, cleaning stuff) are very sensitive. On the allergy rating scale I scored a very high 525, where 1-25 is considered low and normal for most people. Anything > than 75 is considered very high with definite symptomps. If it doesnt clear up I am going to have to stay at home. I just hope I get better, I wanna race!@!!

Perico Posted September 13, 2006 Share Damn epoh hope you get better dude! I think you should change yournickname on the Hub to 'sick boy' though with allergies like that Just kidding... hope you can make it though, the race wont be ascompetitve without you! Someone needs to give the boys in orange a runfor their money!
dirtrider Posted September 13, 2006 Share Don't you need to be on a Raleigh to do that ?
mallo Posted September 13, 2006 Share strange one Spinnekop " Pace him back" but M Jacko waited a full two minutes at Harties for the second rider to come in and yes the third rider happened to be a Orange Oke as well---- BUT without Epoh around things will not be the same he is THE Machine one wants and needs to shake up all the lazy riders in the bunch, get better buddy we need you there on Sunday . Jason it seems your tongue lashing of my boys really worked as they are finding form and line but missing you to mix it up with them.
steve Posted September 14, 2006 Share Did anyone notice we had to sign a piece of paper indemnifying the Dome against everything and anything?
dirtrider Posted September 15, 2006 Share I c Scotty also mentioned it somewhere . I collected numbers for other people doing the road race and they did not ask me to sign anything !!
MichH Posted September 15, 2006 Share slowpoke says it was something the sponsor wanted, but there is an indemnity on the entry form, so seems to have been seen as a waste of time?!
