NicNacDH Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I replaced the Deore Brakes with Saint Brakes before the Reign even left the shop.They are a complete overkill for the Reign, but has ample stopping power, no fade and lots of modulation.Would like to recommend XT as alternative to Deore, if you want to use Shimano.Have the Deore on my Scott HT, working nice for the intended use.

Reign advanced 0 has guide rsc. 2015 reign advanced 1 had slx, current has XT. Guides are FAR better than slx. I have the 2015 advanced 1

You might want to fit an extra token on the front and drop the air pressure but I like it stiff.

It isn't major but can easily be felt and its not like that on the other side. I don't see any cracks or anything. Can't recall any super hard landings either where I have felt the need to check. No scratches in the area. Not sure if the picture shows it enough.
