nonono the drug companies should stick to the WADA guidelines. if they stick to the WADA guidelines and rules the playing field is leveled in any case.

Everyone has got the right and is allowed to pop a powerbar gel for example.

If I am in a race and you are in the same race and I pop a powerbar gel and you dont and I attack you and I beat you because I popped a gel and you did not and ran out of energy it is your fault Tongue

Ok then Epoch so you are saying that If I take a drug and you dont and I win and you run dry' date=' than its your fault... [/quote']

no, you said that. If you popped a drug that is on the banned list of substances you should be banned. Period.

Some people argue on here that if you for example use energy gels - should that not be seen as a method of enhancing performance and be categorized in the same category as doping products?

I am saying all the companies etc. should stick to whatever the WADA guidelines is. For example they have not banned energy gels that contains electrolytes etc. So everyone has the right to use energy gels that containa electrolytes and if you do not use it and the other riders are doing better than you as a result of you not using it it is your own fault because it is regarded as legal.

people are spending to much money trying to find ways to hide taking the drugs - rather use the money to make them safe

and besides they idea of those who want to compete on their own steam as opposed to those who want to take drugs is an awesome idea.....wonder what would happen to the Giro?
