What is the difference between using energy bars, gels, carbo-loading and preformanace enhancing drugs? Dont both of them give you the edge!

MTBKing you will definitly fail this paper ! They want you to justify the usage of the stuff . It is a test to see if the student can think outside the box ! (I think) smiley36.gif

You are right , all those other things also enhances your performance but as far as we know it is a good "drug" . I also think these banned stuff mess around with ur DNA, Gene pool , last brain cell etc .

Is it not a contradiction in terms to say that you will reach your ''full potential'' while using ''perfromance enhancing'' ''drugs''?

Jenna lee to write your paper you have to stop being a cyclist, not think as one, be something else when you write it. Otherwise you will be writing a eulogy for your sport Cry

If you legalise the drugs, bring it into the open, big drug companies would find more ways to make the performance drugs more safe. With a bigger mass market drugs would have to become more safe.

I mean we all take gels. So imagine before a big race we could take drugs to make us perform better.

Hey thinking out the box for Jenna

I share one ! You can have it next week . Ummmmm ja I suppose we then just have to use water ! But we can also argue that we drink our gummy-berry juice to replace lost stuff !
