Lol.. Simon Clarke thought he won the stage.. was wondering why he was so happy with 2e and then Visconte pointing out that the child won..

Actually brought tears to my eyes , where you at that age ?

At that age I was in the military still. Certainly not doing anything world class or note worthy unless surviving counts.

Aaaaaaaaahhhh! Nooo!

Davide is in my fantasy league team (believing he's a future star) and one of my main picks for the white jersey.

I had him in my team of 9 yesterday, but for some unknown reason I took him out of my line-up today. What a bozo move! Damn it!

Hey.. that Southeast team kit is officially my favourite kit.. and the white panelling on the bib is just positioned right so that it's not yuk in the rain.... lemme go find that. Pro kit thread.. cause if I received that kit as a pressie I would possibly wear it.

"...who'd have thought the racing would be like this in the first few days, over this kind of terrain? I mean it’s brutal.”

Hesjedal, losing 5 mins on GC today

Yes he does. Actually 22. He didn't look sure how to handle the champagne at the end. Like he was scared his mom would shout at him if he was caught with alcohol.

Perhaps in 32 years time when he is my age he will also hit 78kg

hehe, It was exactly my remarks to my wife, "he's waiting for his mom to give him permission to have a sip".

Surely he will drink a lot more champagne in future and get the girls to kiss him.

I wonder if it was wise from the teams to go so hard so early on in the race. This was only a cat 3 climb and the real mountains are still to come.

If this is what the rest of the race will be like, then there is no way that Contador will have any oemf left for the TDF and like wise Porte as Froome's 2IB.

Might this be the tactic of Astana all along to make things easier for Nibali?
