I think a lot of riders are up to help see Astana get taken down a peg. Surely there must be a lot of muttering about Astanas performance.

Yeah.. Landa doesn't look like he is that tired (31km to go)

Ironically, Berto attacked Schleckie, wearing yellow, when he dropped his chain.

Contador rolled for Astana then.

Admittedly, it wasn't clear whether they attacked because of his mechanical or whether they responded to Andy's actual attack up the climb.

Intriguing stuff.

Yeah, although we will never know whether they responded to his attack or his dropped chain

Either way an entertaining piece of history and neither seem to be overly cut up about that incident. Chalked up to "That's bike racing".

All the reactions to today's puncture-gate is going to get fueled by the strong anti-Astana sentiment. Nobody seems to like them at this point in time.

The Spanish call him El Pistilero due to his signature salute when he wins a race.

Well today they brought out the Gatling Gun in him!

Just watching the interview with him, he looked absolutely thrilled and then he teared up while talking about his team, they absolutely turned themselves inside out for him..

And that is why we love this sport

I love to see him riding like this! It's a spectacle!

Watching this though I can't help but worry about the Tour. It's not like these are half-measured efforts...

I reckon he will worry about the tour when he gets there.

The one stage out of the whole tour so far I couldn't get home early to watch the last hour or so... and it happens to be one of the best.

Before this race didn't like Contador much but have huge respect for the way he has ridden this tour and yesterdays stage... slowly becoming a fan :whistling:
