RS Reba RLT Solo Air 9mmQR vs Manitou Marvel Comp 9mmQR

I'm looking to upgrade the fork on my Spez Camber, which comes standard with 110mm travel.

However, aftermarket forks aren't available in 110mm travel - so I've got the option of either the 100mm RS Reba or the 120mm Manitou Marvel Comp.

They both are in the same price class, with similar tech.

Any suggestions? I can either increase or decrease my current travel by 10mm, depending on the two forks.

Who told you that aftermarket forks aren't available in 110mm ??

Consider other options as well like X-Fusion and something like Suntour's Epicon.

Just haven't seen any models in 110mm. Not too keen on Suntour - very mixed reviews.

X-Fusion would be nice, as my rear shock is X-Fusion.

Have a gander at this thread '140mm revelation fork on camber comp' - I think it was started by Speeder. Have a chat with him, you might want to consider going up a bit further.

Thanks!

Bit hesitant to push the travel too far up. Trying to keep the geometry the same.

Wouldn't mind a RS Pike in 120mm, but that's serious $$$!

A few of the RS forks can be run in either 100mm or 120mm too. Know my Recon and SID can both be changed via the spacers, 120mm is a nice change from 100mm for me.

Think I'm going to bite the bullet and get the Manitou.

Scared of having only 100mm of travel and then have the fork bottoming out the whole time over rough terrain.
