I would also like to know.

I'm planning on cycling to the event and back so I don't want to get there and then they tell me I need my SAS board.

Yes I believe you will need your board.

Whats in the goody bag?

Will we get medals?

How many waterpoints will there be?

What will be available at the waterpoints?

Is there a cut off time?

What is the ascent?

How will the seeding work?

Can we use SAS boards?

How do we get to Red Barn?

Will there be water/coke/red bull at the finish line?

Will there be beer for sale?

Where do we park?

When is the next race?

Will this help my seeding?

Where can I see the results?

I think you have done enuf races to be answer these yourself oom

Iv dropped to 1.7 before up front but feel like the tyre with fold off during cornering if I go any lower...always 1.9 or 2 on the back depending on terrain...I weigh 85kg if that makes more sense

Sometimes I think, sometimes I do not think

Here is the link to the route profiles, http://www.usn.co.za/bulletin/press-releases/race-profiles-of-usn-mtb-cup-race-6-2014-R492.html

Remember, this is a SASeeding event and you will be required to bring your SAS number board. Please note that should you not have a SASeeding number board, you will be required to purchase one for the event. There is a once off fee of R50 for a board which can be used at any future SASeeding event.

There will be a number collection on Friday the 24th October 2014 which will be held at Epic Sports Cycles, cnr Jean Avenue and Lenchen Avenue, Centurion

Spez captain 2.1 in front and fast track 2.2 in the back atm. .....Ideally I'd prefer 2.2 in front.

Ok just received my seeding email - and the stated "SAS board number" is not my SAS number ... are we actually using our normal SAS boards then?

I have my correct SAS board number on my email. We're using our normal SAS boards.

A for the 50!

Yeah I phoned them, apparently some issue on their system so now have to go sort it out at registration  but see you in A

If i am not mistaken we are in for a bit of a mudbath? last time i rode there in the mud, i had an unexpected dismount around a slippery corner.

That place is horrific when muddy!

A short shower should settle and compact the sand nicely and make some of that single track even better!
