He had a bad day at this point in last year's race but to struggle on a 3rd cat climb so early in the stage is something else. He can only hope that the peloton eases up and that he can recover before more serious tests in today's stage profile.

'Dale Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Meanwhile the pace of the peloton is relentless. We have two riders up top, then a group of thirty that contains Contador, Froome, Nibali and Quintana. Then another group for Sagan and Rodriguez. Then we have van Garderen's group. 55km covered.

He can only hope that the peloton eases up and that he can recover before more serious tests in today's stage profile.  I was one of the okes saying TJ is not Big 4 material but it aint cool to see TJ kakking off like this. He must be sick - he's at the docs car... Pity - he actually looked better than I have ever seen him.
'Dale Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Right now Team Sky are on the front and setting the pace for Froome as they try and establish some form of order within the race. They've already had to answer an attack from Nairo Quintana and we still have 100km to go.
